C. F. Martin 0-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1959), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 166473, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown alligator chipboard case.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 1/2 in. (34.3 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/4 in. (10.8 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.). This is a nicely original guitar overall, with just some finish checking and moderate play wear-mostly strumming marks on both sides of the soundhole rim and just below the pickguard. The bridge has been lowered at some point and the saddle is new; with just some recent fret work this is a fine player. The tuners are period Grover Sta-tites but there appear to have been a set of Waverly tuners on art some point as well. While a bit played-in this is still a lovely example, in far better shape than many-this is one of those relatively rare Martins that has existed nearly 60 years without any major cracks! An excellent player with a nice punchy tome, and finely mellowed in. Overall Excellent - Condition.
