C. F. Martin 000-18 Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1966), made in Nazareth, PA, serial # 208163, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back, sides and neck, spruce top, brazillian rosewood fingerboard and bridge, original black chipboard case.

This is a great sounding 000-18 from the height of the "guitar boom" era. The body has old-style tortoise celluloid binding and pickguard, one of the last with those features. Other features include a short-saddle rosewood bridge, Grover Sta-Tite tuners with hexagonal bushings and a typical '60's rounded peghead.

Overall length is 39 3/4 in. (101 cm.), 15 in. (38.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 1/16 in. (10.3 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). A very clean guitar overall; the finish shows small dings and dents; there light scrapes and capo wear to the back of the neck and a bit of pickwear just below the soundhole. There is one very small pickguard shrinkage crack in the typical place just off the top edge od the guard. Appears all original except for a new nut. This is an excellent player, with a richer sound than some '60's 000's we have had. Includes the original chipboard case. Excellent - Condition.
