Bart Reiter Whyte Laydie 5 String Banjo (1995)
Bart Reiter Whyte Laydie Model 5 String Banjo (1995), made in Lansing, Michigan, serial # 1221, natural lacquer finish, laminated maple rim and neck, ebony fingerboard, gig bag case. Item # 5542
Overall length is 37 in. (94 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 26 in. (660 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/16 in. (33 mm.). Some very light wear; the only real signs of age are some tarnish to the plating and a patch of lacquer chipping to the gryphon inlay on the headstock. Plays and sounds excellent; a nice example of a very classy modern old-tyme banjo. Excellent Condition.
