Ampeg Jet Model J-12-D Tube Guitar Amplifier (1966)
Ampeg Jet Model J-12-D Model Tube Guitar Amplifier (1966), made in Linden NJ, blue checked Tolex finish. Item # 2618
A traditional favorite in NYC, the Ampeg Jet is a particularly dense and crunchy-sounding little amp with a real personality. With nice deep tremolo and singing overdrive, this is a great "rootsy" gigging and recording amp for low-volume situations.
Height is 14 in. (35.6 cm.), 18 3/4 in. (47.6 cm.) width, and 9 in. (22.9 cm.) deep.
Appears all original including the oft-damaged handle. Some light corrosion to the control panel and edgewear to the covering, but overall quite a nice Jet. Excellent Condition.
