Gibson ES-335 DOT Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1999), made in Nashville, TN, serial # 90619316, black lacquer finish, laminated maple body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 41 3/8 in. (105.1 cm.), 15 15/16 in. (40.5 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

This guitar appears to have been only lightly played over the last 20 years, remaining all original and well-cared for. It shows very little wear to the finish, just some tiny dings, scuffs, and scrapes. The nickel plating has a small amount of actual wear and minor corrosion, not from artificial relicing but actual use and has a nicely authentically aged look to it.

The tuners are Grover Rotomatics, otherwise the hardware is a very accurate reproduction of the original 1959 style, including Gibson's PAF repros from this period. This is a very striking looking guitar in this relatively rare black finish and feels nicely broken-in with 20+ years (ouch -- now we feel old!) under its belt already. An excellent player with a slightly chunkier version of the fairly slim, flat profile 1960-style neck and original frets still in excellent shape. Includes the original deluxe brown Tolex HSC. Overall Excellent + Condition.
