Fender Stratocaster Hybrid II Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2021), made in Japan, serial # JD2121013002, Shell Pink finish, alder body, maple neck, original black gig bag case.
Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).
This "Hybrid II" is a newer model from Fender Japan, basically a traditional Stratocaster with some modern hardware upgrades. These include staggered-height locking tuners in the guise of Kluson Deluxes and a new hybrid take on the 1980s "Freeflyte" trem with two forward mounting bolts instead of the traditional knife-edge and row of screws it entails. This is called the "2-Point Synchronized Tremolo with Vintage-Style Stamped Steel Saddles" now. The pickups are "Hybrid II Custom Voiced Single Coil Stratocaster" voiced specially for each position.
This is a nice clean playing Strat with a good range of tones, a deeper C-profile neck than many Japanese Strats and a more loosey-goosey trem feel than the vintage styled ones. And it's Shell Pink! The guitar appears new, in apparently unused condition with the plastic afterbirth and sticker still on the pickguard and pickups, and the original gig bag with paperwork included. Near Mint Condition.
