Epiphone Riviera-6 CH Elitist Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar (2004), made in Japan, serial # T-403264, cherry finish, laminated maple body, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 42 3/8 in. (107.6 cm.), 16 in. (40.6 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

This 20 year old guitar appears only very lightly played, with some handling marks but no really noticeable wear or damage. This is a nice re-issue of the 1960s Kalamazoo-made Epiphone Riviera, the ES-335 equivalent in the Gibson/epi line. It was made at the Terada factory in Japan that also builds the higher grade modern Gretsch guitars. It has a comfortable round-backed neck a bit chunkier than many original mid-'60s examples, and accurate hardware including two good sounding reissue mini-humbucking pickups. Although the contemporary Elitist Epiphone Casino had a long production run, these Terada built Rivieras were discontinued around 2006 and so are quite a bit rarer today. This one looks to be still waiting to be really played! Excellent + Condition.
