Guild A-150-B Model Arch Top Acoustic Guitar (1961), made in Hoboken, NJ, serial # 17863, natural lacquer finish, solid spruce top, maple back and sides, laminated mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 42 in. (106.7 cm.), 17 in. (43.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

Sometimes you can hardly believe a guitar that is 55 years old can look this fresh -- this is one of those times! While not mint, this guitar shows virtually no play wear, fading, checking, or anything that mars this guitar, just some very small handling dings and scuffs overall, and a bit of plating wear to the tailpiece.

There is one tiny period screw Phillips set into the bass side of the neck heel for a reason lost to history. It also plays extremely well, a superlative example of the rare Guild acoustic archtops of this early period complete with the original brown hard case. Near Mint Condition.
