National Style 0 Deluxe Model Resophonic Guitar (2004), made in Los Angeles, California, serial # 1763-2, nickel plated finish, brass body, maple neck with ebony fingerboard, original black tolex hard shell case.

The Style O Deluxe is the modern National Company's enhanced (or "gussied up" as grandpa used to say) version of their most popular model, the Style O. It has the traditional Hawaiian scene decoration with an added hand-engraved wriggle pattern with double cut lines bordering the body and coverplate. The position marks have been upgraded from dots to mother-of-pearl diamonds. The neck is figured maple with an engraved ivoroid headstock overlay and matching heel cap. The Tuners are vintage-style Kluson repros logo'd Grover. This is a very attractive and fine-sounding instrument; vintage in characrer if not exactly a vintage re-issue, but with a lot of charm.

Overall length is 38 3/4 in. (98.4 cm.), 14 1/4 in. (36.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 3 3/8 in. (8.6 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/8 in. (48 mm.).

This guitar is all original with no repair or alteration except a strap button added to the heel. It has seen some play time but does not show much wear apart from that the areas of the plated finish that come into contact with the player's body have some clouding on the top, side, and back. Everything else is as it left National in 2004. A very nice modern single-cone resonator guitar with a powerful sound, complete in its original HSC. Excellent - Condition.
