Fender Champ-Amp AA-764 Model Tube Amplifier (1967), made in Fullerton, California, black tolex covering finish.

Height is 13 3/4 in. (34.9 cm.), 16 3/4 in. (42.5 cm.) width, and 7 in. (17.8 cm.) deep.

This late blackface Champ has a tube chart code of QH, indicating assembly in August of 1967 during the "Summer of Love". It shows some light wear but nothing major. The Champ is the classic "home" amp in any configuration, and remains one of the all-time great basic amplifier designs. This one is bright and crunchy, perfect for home use, rehearsal, and recording in many styles. This one has a replaced speaker (an American Vintage Warehouse G8C) and some recent maintenance including replaced drifting signal caps, removing the "death cap", and it was biased at 70% plate dissipation. It is now fabulous-sounding and ready to go! Overall Excellent Condition.
