Guild M-65 3/4 Model Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar (1965), made in Hoboken, NJ, sunburst top, dark back and sides finish, laminated mahogany back and sides; laminated maple top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, black gig bag case.

The Guild M-65 3/4 is a great little guitar, with a small fully hollow body mated to a short scale neck. It is still surprisingly full-sounding, and this diminutive instrument is incredibly light and very comfortable to handle. This one has the fairly rare but great sounding metal-covered single coil pickup Guild only used in the mid-60's. One of Guild's forgotten designs, the M-65 3/4 is a neat piece of unusual '60s vintage cool.

Overall length is 37 in. (94 cm.), 13 3/4 in. (34.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/16 in. (5.2 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 22 1/2 in. (572 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This guitar is clean overall with some very light finish wear and dings, and retains all original finish and fittings. The top edge of the headstock has had the facing reglued (they tend to shrink over time) and there is one long scratch down the back of the neck...otherwise there is no damage or repair evident. A neat example of this very fun instrument! Excellent + Condition.
