Fender Stratocaster Eric Clapton Signature Blackie Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2006), made in Corona, CA, serial # SZ6004118, black polyester finish, alder body, maple neck, original tweed hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This guitar appears to have been little used over the past 13 years, and shows no alterations and only the most minimal wear. There is one small dink in the fingerboard above the 17th fret and some scuffs and scratches on the back. This Eric Clapton "Blackie" signature model is equipped with Fender Noiseless Pickups and an internal pre-amp, with the battery neatly tucked away in the trem cavity. It comes standard with a modern 5-way blade switch, easily allowing all pickup combinations. It has the tremolo unit "blocked" with a piece of wood but still retains 5 springs for the subtle but noticeable affect this has on the sound. This was Clapton's preferred setup on the original "Blackie". There is an original Fender cord and a Strat trem arm in the original G&G deluxe tweed case, and the trem can be re-activated if desired. Overall this model offers a nice combination of vintage Strat aesthetics with a flexible modern sound. Excellent + Condition.
