This amp is almost incredibly clean overall, a superb example of this cool early Danelectro creation. It has recently been serviced with a new 3-prong cord and a typical light cap job but other than that remains all original and appears to have not seen much use since it was new back in the Eisenhower years. Externally it shows only the most minor wear with a couple of spots and rubs, with all knobs, graphics, and even the original leather handle intact and functional.

Internally it still has a full rack of original Sylvania and RCA tubes and the lovely (and obscure) original Rola speaker dated the 36th week of 1956. Like all Danelectro amps it is nicely designed, made to a price for sure, but a neat-sounding amp that starts out lightly nasty and cranks up into a snarly monster when pushed. And yes, it's made of bent aluminum and pasteboard! Excellent + Condition.
