Gibson Les Paul Standard Custom Shop '56 Re-Issue Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2019), made in Nashville, TN, serial # 6 9016, gold and natural lacquer finish, mahogany body with maple cap, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 in. (5.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 3/4 in. (629 mm.). Width of nut is 1 11/16 in. (43 mm.).

This is a lovely and very accurate Gibson Custom Shop rendition of the classic 1956 goldtop Les Paul. The combination of the Tune-O-Matic bridge and twin P-90 pickups is specific to this model, which was a short lived variant in the 1950's, although often re-issued since. This 2019 Custom Shop version gets closer to the 65 year old original than most, a great playing and sounding Les Paul by any standard. The guitar is not aged or reliced and appears very little used, with some light handling marks only. It comes complete in the original deluxe re-issue brown case with a passel of case candy and the Custom Shop COA included. There is an extra vintage style switch backplate as well, which can be used in place of the Custom Shop marked piece. One of Gibson's most well-done re-issues, and a very fine instrument by any standard. Overall Near Mint Condition.
