Washburn Shrine Model # 5330 Model Soprano Ukulele, made by Lyon & Healy, c. 1928, made in Chicago, serial # 10071, dark mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, original black chipboard case.
 
Overall length is 21 3/8 in. (54.3 cm.), 9 in. (22.9 cm.) width, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 13 3/4 in. (349 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/8 in. (35 mm.). Very fine condition; no repairs or alterations and in excellent playing shape. There are small finish dings (some have light touch-up) and some checking, but overall very well preserved. Sounds excellent-these really are very high-grade instrument with a distinctive sound-one of the rarest and coolest high-grade ukuleles of the 1920's. Includes an excellent original heavy chip case. Excellent Condition.
