Fender 600 Champ 5B1 Model Tube Guitar Amplifier (1952), made in Fullerton, California, serial # 4139, tweed fabric covering finish.

A very early tweed-covered "Champ" from soon after the model switched from a two-tone fabric cabinet to the familiar classic '50's look. This is the simplest Fender amp design, the chassis is literally a bent piece of metal with components directly wired in, three tubes, and one volume knob. The classic home and recording amp with a fabulous run-up to natural overdrive, no studio should be without one!

Height is 10 3/4 in. (27.3 cm.), 11 3/4 in. (29.8 cm.) width, and 7 1/4 in. (18.4 cm.) deep. Very clean with only an added 3 prong cord and some light waer to the tweed.. Excellent Condition.
