C. F. Martin D-12-20 Model 12 String Flat Top Acoustic Guitar (1967), made in Nazareth, PA, natural lacquer finish, mahogany back and sides, spruce top; mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, black hard shell case.

Overall length is 41 7/16 in. (105.2 cm.), 15 5/8 in. (39.7 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 4 15/16 in. (12.5 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/8 in. (48 mm.).

Overall a nicely original guitar, and an early example of Martin's most popular 12-string.

There are some deep scrapes and notable pickwear to the top, and marks from where it looks like an older style clear Flamenco tap plate was added and removed, taking some surface finish with it. There is a long finish scrape behind the bridge; the bridge has been reduced a bit in height, and there is some light wear. There are several repaired cracks on the treble side.

This is a very fine playing guitar with a nice low action for a 12-string and a big powerful sound, better than many of this model we have had.

Has an older pickup and end jack installed, and a modern HSC. Very Good + Condition.
