Maccaferri T.V. Pal Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1951, made in New York, NY, swirl plastic finish, Dow Styron plastic, original box case.
Overall length is 21 in. (53.3 cm.), 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 13 1/2 in. (343 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/16 in. (36 mm.).
All original and hardly used, complete with the original box, a Bobby Breen method book, and felt pick. The box has some crush marks, mostly on the sides, but is still intact, with a couple of generations of scotch tape on the flaps. It features some great graphics, and while the TV Pal was not the highest grade of Maccaferri Dow Styron instrument, it is still very cool and relatively functional! Excellent + Condition.
