Jerry Jones Neptune Model Semi-Hollow Body Electric Guitar (2004), made in Nashville, TN, maroon lacquer with vinyl siding finish, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 13 in. (33 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 in. (635 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This guitar is in very fine condition, appearing little played and showing a few minor scratches to the finish on the back -- and that's about it. This is an excellent-playing and sounding instrument, one of the more original creations of the now-closed, much-missed Jerry Jones Nashville workshop. It is basically a modernized version of the 1950s Danelectro U-3, with more Strat-like switching and a solid strung-through-body bridge. "Tweakin' Tradition" was the slogan for the Neptune models, and this is certainly a nice example of that philosophy in action. A fine example of Jones' work, in the original high-grade G&G HSC complete with the original serial-numbered hangtag. Excellent + Condition.
