Fender Telecaster TL-62 Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (2008), made in Japan, serial # T081991, Lake Placid Blue lacquer finish, hardwood body, maple neck with rosewood fingerboard, original black gig bag case.

Overall length is 38 3/8 in. (97.5 cm.), 12 5/8 in. (32.1 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This is a new-old-stock Fender Japan-distributed guitar, a very nice rendition of the classic early '60s "Custom Color" Telecaster. It is already over 10 years old having been made around 2008 and apparently sitting as unsold stock in Japan since then. The instrument shows only some very light handling wear and little if any play time. There are a few tooling marks on the upper frets that do not affect play. It is finished in a very nice Lake Placid Blue set off by the period-correct "mint green" pickguard. This is a very sharp-looking and good-sounding modern "Traditional" rosewood fingerboard Tele, an lovely example of the excellent "vintage" style instruments Fender Japan has created for decades now. Near Mint Condition.
