Fender Stratocaster 1954 Custom Shop Model Solid Body Electric Guitar (1998), made in Corona, CA, serial # CN702154, Aztec gold lacquer finish, ash body, maple neck, original tweed hard shell case.

Overall length is 39 in. (99.1 cm.), 12 3/4 in. (32.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 25 1/2 in. (648 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This striking Strastocaster appears all original and very little used, in the original tweed case with the Fender Custom Shop COA, strap, cord and other case candy. The COA is dated 1998 and signed by John Page. There is a bit of wear on the lower side on the curve of the horn and that's about it. This is a lovely gold-hued Strat, with all gold plated hardware except (oddly enough) for black chrome bridge screws. The layout and hardware are correct 1954 pattern, including the single-layer white pickguard and round string tree. The only modern touch is a 5-way switch. This is a great looking and very good-feeling Strat with a fairly big chunky round-backed neck and the classic bright 1950's tone. Excellent + Condition.
