Gibson Thinline Hollow Body Electric Guitar, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst lacquer finish, original black hard shell case.

Overall length is 40 3/4 in. (103.5 cm.), 16 7/8 in. (42.9 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 23 3/8 in. (594 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This guitar remains in fine playing condition, with no major damage or repair and just light wear. The finish remains quite clean overall, with some typical checking but not much play wear. The sunburst is beautifully preserved, with very little fade anywhere. The top is the most heavily checked, with a couple of small scratches and one noticeable dinged spot above the tailpiece. The back of the neck os very clean with one feelable ding behind the 8th fret area.

The guitar is crack free with one small lamination check by the jack. It appears all original except for a very fine correct repro pickguard and bracket and replaced strap buttons. These are gold-plated vintage Straploks, and an appropriately fitted out leather strap is in the case pocket. The original frets are in excellent condition and this is a superb playing guitar, with a great sound ranging from smooth jazz to flat-out raunch when cranked. It still resides in the original yellow-lined black HSC. Overall Excellent + Condition.
