Overall length is 40 1/4 in. (102.2 cm.), 14 1/4 in. (36.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 5/8 in. (4.1 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 24 in. (610 mm.). Width of nut is 1 5/8 in. (41 mm.).

This modernist take on the Jaguar combines 1960s and later aesthetics in a sleek offset ebony package. This special edition Jaguar was a Fender Japan creation, debuting before the "classic player" humbucking-equipped Jaguar Fender introduced more recently. It is a more menacing and overtly badass take on the classic more cheerful '60s Jaguar, replacing the vintage-style tremolo and single coil pickups for a Gibson-style tune-o-Matic and stop tail setup and 2 humbucking pickups. The short 24" scale and 1 5/8" nut are retained, making for easy string bending and crunch chording

This Jaguar has some general wear, metalheaded a bit with dings, dents and scrapes and a few small touch-ups. It has also had some rewiring done, notably a replaced switch on the lead circuit (the "bass cut" switch) and a louder 1980s DiMarzio pickup replacing the original Fender unit in the bridge. The knobs have been replaced, but the pots remain original as does the original Fender "dragster" pickup in neck position. The frets show some light wear but this is still a good player in a less traditional offset mode. Very Good + Condition.
