Gibson RB-175 Long Neck Model 5 String Banjo (1964), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, serial # 189485, brown lacquer finish, laminated maple rim, mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, original brown chipboard case.
 
Overall length is 42 5/8 in. (108.3 cm.), 11 1/8 in. (28.3 cm.) diameter head, and 3 1/8 in. (7.9 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 32 in. (813 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). Clean overall, very little play wear. No alterations except possibly changed (but period) tuners, and a slightly sloppily mounted 5th string peg. Plays and sounds very well, a nice example. Excellent Condition.
