Stradolin 5 String Banjo, c. 1950's, made in New York, brown lacquer finish.
An excellent beginner's 5-string, then or now. Very plain design but functional and decently made-an inexpensive starter banjo with some history!
Overall length is 37 in. (94 cm.), 11 in. (27.9 cm.) diameter head, and 2 3/4 in. (7 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 26 1/2 in. (673 mm.). Width of nut is 1 3/16 in. (30 mm.). Substantially re-worked recently (new rim hardware, new tuners, rim refinished, neck oversptayed, new wooden dowel) into a good beginner's 5-string. Skin head, straight neck, good old-time sound. Excellent Condition.
