Gibson EM-200 Florentine Model Solid Body Electric Mandolin (1965), made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, sunburst top, natural back and sides finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard, black tolex hard shell case.

Overall length is 27 3/8 in. (69.5 cm.), 10 in. (25.4 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 1 3/4 in. (4.4 cm.) in depth, measured at side of rim. Scale length is 14 in. (356 mm.). Width of nut is 1 1/4 in. (32 mm.). Spectacularly well preserved-very little wear anywhere on the mandolin. Really only the gold plating on the tailpiece cover and bridge top (mostly gone) shows the age of this piece at all. There is light fret wear under the E and A strings, otherwise little evidence of play. Plays and sounds excellent, one of the nicest of these we have ever seen complete with a near-perfect OHSC and unreturned warranty. Excellent + Condition.
