Fender Champ-Amp AA-764 Model Tube Amplifier (1965), made in Fullerton, California, black tolex covering finish.

Height is 13 3/4 in. (34.9 cm.), 16 3/4 in. (42.5 cm.) width, and 7 in. (17.8 cm.) deep.

The classic "home" amp in any configuration, the Fender Champ in any guise remains one of the all-time great amplifier designs. This 1965 Blackface Champ (Tube chart OJ = Nov 1965) is somewhat larger with a bit more headroom than the earlier tweed versions. It is still nice and crunchy when cranked and is perfect for recording in many styles. This one is a bit dirty overall but not heavily worn, in mostly original condition. It is fabulous-sounding, recently serviced with a new Weber speaker, light cap job, and re-bias to spec. Overall Excellent Condition.
