Fender Deluxe Reverb Model Tube Amplifier (1975), made in Fullerton, California, serial # A-42676, black tolex covering finish.

Height is 17 1/4 in. (43.8 cm.), 24 1/4 in. (61.6 cm.) width, and 9 1/4 in. (23.5 cm.) in depth at side.

This is a nice and relatively clean example of a mid-70's Deluxe Reverb, a classic Fender model that remains a comparative bargain in a vintage gigging and recording amp. These Silverface models may lack the "cool factor" of their 60s blackface ancestors, but still sound fine if generally a bit brighter and tighter than the earlier decade, with an extended high end response. This amp has a changed speaker (a Weber 12A125) which gives it a little more sweetness and punch in overdrive mode.

Internally the amp remains nicely original and unmodified except for the speaker. The transformers are all original date coded to 1973 and '74. The unit has had our standard maintenance with the ageing Electrolytic capacitors replaced, a grounded three prong cord added and all sockets, jacks and pots cleaned. A correct style trem pedal is included that looks to be more recent. Externally the Tolex is lightly worn, and there is some scuffing on the faceplate but overall the amp presents very nicely and sounds great. Excellent - Condition.
