Gibson Uke-3 Model Soprano Ukulele, c. 1928, made in Kalamazoo, Michigan, natural mahogany finish, mahogany body and neck, rosewood fingerboard.

Overall length is 20 3/8 in. (51.8 cm.), 6 3/8 in. (16.2 cm.) wide at lower bout, and 2 1/4 in. (5.7 cm.) in depth at side, taken at the end block. Scale length is 13 3/4 in. (349 mm.). Width of nut is 1 7/16 in. (36 mm.). All original with some overall finish wear, mostly noticeable on the back which shows some long scratches and an area of mottled finish from contact with plastic or the like. One small top crack in front of the bridge and discreet back crack repaired. The initials "D. A. + K. A. are very lightly incised into the back finish as well, a romantic liason of the distant past no doubt. This is a super attractive, very nice playing and sounding ukulele, one of the better Gibsons we have had. Overall Excellent - Condition.
